Membership Information

Craigmillar Park Golf Club has a very active membership of around 650 members. Our Gents' and Ladies’ sections offer a full schedule of competitive fixtures. Both Gents' and Ladies' medal competitions are played on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the summer, with medal competitions over only 9 holes played on certain Mondays throughout the summer. We have also a very active Junior Section with medals, fun competitions and coaching evenings.

We are unique among Edinburgh clubs in being members of both The 1895 Club and Association of James Braid Courses both of which bring significant benefits for members.  We also participate in the Edinburgh and Lothians Area Golf Club Reciprocal Arrangements, whereby members can play 9 golf courses in the surrounding area at reduced green fees.  

We have a varied social calendar which includes quiz nights, race nights and other social events. All members receive 15% off our bar and food prices.

Member Guest Days for parties of 12 golfers - As Members often wish to showcase Craigmillar Park Golf Club to friends or colleagues beyond a fourball, an “ 11+1” privilege has been introduced to permit members to book in advance for a party of 12 golfers AND to enable all players to take advantage of the members’ guest rate, currently £15 Monday to Thursday and £18 Friday,Saturday and Sunday.

Additional Information

In addition to the membership fee, there are also annual charges

£7 for member’s liability insurance,

A Scottish Golf affiliation fee of £14.50 (for those aged 18 and over) and,

A bar credit of £30. (for  golfing members aged 18 years and over). The bar credit is transferred into the members account and can then be used for discounted drink and food purchases.

We have excellent catering facilities with a range of tempting snacks and meals available throughout the day. In summer catering is available from am each day for breakfasts, teas and coffees.

Members can hire the clubhouse during the day or in the evening for functions  (weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, etc.)  and we can accommodate daytime meetings with catering.

We also have a Social Membership category available for those who would simply like to enjoy the facilities of the clubhouse and bar. If you live in the area or work at Kings Buildings, for example, why not bring your colleagues and friends to our well-appointed clubhouse for meetings or for lunch?
