When the wind is westerly it is said to take three good shots to get home in two. The drive is into a rising fairway which has a bunker on the right in the rough and out of range for most.
Bunkers are placed on the right and left of the green with a third bunker at the bottom left corner of the green. In fast summer conditions a putt from even a few feet above the hole can be scary.
